Khan Shatyr
Khan Shatyr is a landmark shopping and entertainment center in Astana, Kazakhstan, known as the world’s tallest tent-shaped structure. It was inaugurated in 2010 on Astana Day. The building stands 150 meters tall and spans 127,000 m². Designed by renowned British architect Norman Foster, it features international brand stores, restaurants, cinemas, the Fame City amusement zone, a tropical-style Sky Beach Club, and children’s attractions. Its ETFE roof allows sunlight in while maintaining a stable indoor climate year-round. Khan Shatyr is one of Astana’s most iconic modern symbols.
