Imam Serahsi Mosque
Imam Serahsi Mosque, located in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, is one of the largest places of worship in Central Asia. The mosque, located in the city center, reflects the Turkish architectural aesthetic with its 4 minarets. 20 thousand people can
pray at the same time, including the open areas, in the mosque, which was built as a similar to the Ankara Kocatepe Mosque. The mosque and its complex, which was built on approximately 35 decares of land, consists of four parts. In addition
to the mosque, there are religious services consultancy and mufti buildings within the complex.
The mosque, which was built differently from the mosques in Central Asia, offers a magnificent visuality with its
interior and exterior architecture. The decorations made in accordance with Ottoman handicrafts are dazzling.
The mosque, which started its construction in 2012 and was completed in 2018, has been hosting Muslims from Kyrgyzstan
since the day it was opened.
