Teleshayakh Mosque

The Teleshayakh Mosque is the central part of the Hazrati Imam Complex in Old Tashkent. It is one of the city’s largest and most sacred mosques. Built in the 19th century, the mosque was damaged during the 1966 Tashkent earthquake and later restored. It houses the famous 7th-century Osman Qur’an manuscript, considered one of the oldest in the Islamic world. With its grand dome, spacious courtyard, and intricate decorations, Teleshayakh Mosque serves as a spiritual and architectural landmark in Uzbekistan’s capital.
